Hello! My name is Rowan Crutchfield, and I am originally from Clinton, Illinois. I attended Cottey College in Missouri, pursuing a BA in theatre as a generalist, with specialties in Lighting Design and Playwrighting. I graduated in May of 2024, Summa Cum Laude, and now I plan to pursue a career in theatre as a Lighting Designer. 

To further this goal, I completed an internship program with The Naples Players in Naples, Florida, from August 2024 to May 2025, learning more about the craft and picking up new skills and techniques as a designer. They are an incredible group of people and I consider myself extremely lucky to have gotten the chance to work alongside them.

This coming season, I will be going to Western Illinois University to get my Masters of Fine Arts in Lighting Design where I hope to build on what The Naples Players have taught me and cultivate invaluable connections within the industry.
